Music phenomenon Scarypoolparty aka Alejandro Aranda has released new single “Home.”

The track blends organic acoustic elements with electronic samples, but beneath its intoxicating pop veneer Scarypoolparty delivers a dark meditation on longing and loneliness.

Directed by Krizia Vega (Lindsey Stirling, Sabrina Carpenter), the video was conceptualized by Scarypoolparty. The cinematic new video portrays a storybook millennial romance; loving someone so deeply while also battling your own demons. Whether it be depression or disassociation, the all-consuming vice leaves the other person just as broken.

Scarypoolparty said about “Home”:

That song was very much a personal song.

The song’s about relationship problems and seeing it from the outside perspective and a person not wanting to leave their home. I had this idea of having your emotions inside a house that you built in your soul.

Aranda has grown substantially as an artist, we first heard of him during the seventeenth season of American Idol. America fell in love with him and it’s no surprise as to why, his music telling is next level, he tells a story and doesn’t let you go, he makes you feel the emotions that he’s telling. “Home” is one of those tracks, it’s simply beautiful, one of the best songs of the year thus far.
