SG5 Releases Hyper J-Pop Remix of Debut Single,  “Firetruck” (umru REMIX)

Intergalactic Pop Supergroup, SG5, have teamed up with underground tastemaker and PC Music collaborator, umru, for the remix of their debut single “Firetruck.”

umru, who has worked with the likes of Charli XCX, 100 gecs, Dorian Electra, Rebecca Black, Tommy Cash and more; has transformed SG5’s fiery single into a hyper J-pop nightclub banger.

“Firetruck” (umru REMIX) brings together two diverse artists while seamlessly fusing different genres and cultures. umru, a Brooklyn-based Estonian-American music producer, quickly emerged to the forefront of the pop zeitgeist following his first credit (at 18) on Charli XCX’s landmark mixtape Pop 2. Merging intense, bass-heavy sounds with earworm vocals, his work has come to define and support the cutting edge of pop music. umru is signed to A. G. Cook’s label PC Music who released his latest 7-track project ‘comfort noise.’

Signed with WME for Global Representation; SG5 is co-managed by one of Japan’s largest entertainment companies LDH Japan Inc., and Global powerhouse Three Six Zero. The group has also enlisted Grammy Award-winning songwriter and producer BloodPop® who will serve as Executive Producer and co-Creative Director of the band. SG5 consists of 5 members: SAYAKARURIRUIMIYUU, and KAEDE.
