Snoop Dogg Working On Gospel Album

Snoop Dogg is taking us to church on his next album.

Snoop aka the Doggfather has announced that his 16th album will have a gospel theme. Speaking with Dr. Dre’s “The Pharmacy” program on Beats 1, Snoop explained why he feels the need to make a gospel album now. He said:

I’m working on a gospel album. It’s always been on my heart. I just never got around to it because I always be doing gangsta business or doing this or doing that. I just felt like it’s been on my heart too long. I need to do it now.

Can we expect any collaborations on the gospel album? This is what he said:

Me, Faith Evans, we talked about it heavily. She feel like she wanna get down with me. All of the people that I know, from Charlie Wilson to Jeffrey Osborne, whoever I want to get down with. I’m gonna make it all the way right. It’s gonna feel good.

No word when the gospel album will be released, but we’ll keep you up to date. For the latest news be sure to follow us on social media Twitter, Facebook, Instagram.
