Sublime Announces Collaboration with Street Graffiti Artist Chaz

Iconic California music and art collide as Sublime announces a new collaboration with renowned American Chicano graffiti artist Charles “Chaz” Bojórquez.

Known as the godfather of West Coast graffiti, Chaz’s legendary American Chicano aesthetic transformed Cholo street graffiti into a well-respected and influential art form with a signature style that reflects the cultures and language of East Los Angeles. Exclusive SUBLIME X CHAZ designs will now become wearable art on jackets, shirts, hats, and socks, while inventory lasts.

The new merch collaboration comes on the heels of Sublime’s headline-making performances at Coachella on April 13 and April 20, where Jakob Nowell – son of late frontman Bradley Nowell – stepped into his father’s role as the band’s lead singer alongside original Sublime members Bud Gaugh and Eric Wilson. Despite selling more than 18 million units worldwide, Sublime never played to a crowd of more than a few thousand before Bradley Nowell’s tragic death in 1996. Now, coalesced with Jakob Nowell, Sublime enters a new era as a band – bringing the beloved sounds and styles of Long Beach to a new generation of music lovers.
