The Gills have released their new single, “Rubberband.”
“Rubberband” is the first single to release off of The Gills’ self-titled album, which is set to drop early 2016. With a sound reminiscent of earlyArctic Monkeys and Queens of The Stone Age, The Gills excel with straightforward and bombastic pop-rock sensibilities.
The Gills are Jesse Wheeler (Guitar, Vocals), Andy Prince (Bass), Matt Prince (Drums), and Justin Locke (Guitar, Keys). Originally from Pensacola, Florida, the band made their way to Nashville, TN, to push themselves out of their hometown comfort zone. Years later, they’ve put the finishing touches on the most cathartic songs of the band’s career yet.
