The Habits Release New Single “Amelia” Off of Upcoming EP ‘What’s The Worst That Could Happen?’

Los Angeles alternative/pop duo The Habits have released their new single “Amelia,” off of their upcoming EP What’s The Worst That Could Happen?

The “Amelia” music video provides fans with 4 minutes of catchy hooks and visuals that drown out the noise of 2020.

Vocalist Wolf Bradley explained:

‘Amelia’ is just a tease of the amount of vulnerability displayed on our new EP What’s The Worst That Could Happen?

The nucleus of the video came from a crazy thought I had to have multiple Andrew’s on-screen. That turned into a great opportunity for Andrew to showcase different aspects of identity. The setting came from loving the chaotic energy of the “Eric Andre Show” and the idea of a late-night show host only caring about himself instead of the guest he’s interviewing. Thus, making him a terrible host. The third and final piece of the puzzle was me pretty much ambushing Amelia with the performance. Consequently, taking the spotlight away from her and thinking it was going to win her back. This is kind of the query of the song. I’m doing and saying all I can to make the relationship work, but that can be very selfish. In this video what I think is a big romantic gesture is, in reality, misguided, self-centered, and unfair to Amelia. It’s not meant to be a commentary, it’s just a scene, but I’m sure people can relate and recognize the folly of men and their egos. We have to thank our directors, Frick & Frack (Joe Laporte and Dave Leihn), for actualizing our vision on this video. Gregg Martin (Terry Frack) is HILARIOUS and Mariah Rose Faith (Amelia Silva) crushed the character with grace and poise. It was an honor to work with the two of them. They really went for it and we are so happy with the end result. On a final note, my mom made fun of my dance moves…just saying.

What’s The Worst That Could Happen? will be released October 23 on all streaming platforms.
