The stark and stripped-down clip illuminates the power of Briggs’ voice and presence. Her guitarist and this version’s producer, Taylor Van Ginkel, performs mini keys (accompanied by xylophone). Sitting cross-legged with a strikingly beautiful shaved head and skeleton hoodie, Briggs carries each note with vitality and vulnerability. The acoustic take of “Baby” creates a whole new feel to the original and follows the recently released Sofi TukkerRemix and official “Baby” video, which has garnered over 2.4 million views and counting.
