Ximena Sariñana Sings “No Soy Tuya,” the Bold Theme Song for AppleTV+’s forthcoming Series “Women in Blue (Las Azules)”

Grammy-nominated Mexican singer-songwriter Ximena Sariñana sings the bold theme song for AppleTV+’s highly anticipated new Spanish-language series “Women in Blue (Las Azules)” streaming on July 31st.

“No Soy Tuya” is the first-ever Spanish-language cover of Lesley Gore’s hit “You Don’t Own Me” and maintains the irresistible retro swing of the original. Incorporating potent jazz-driven melodies, “No Soy Tuya,” interpreted with striking passion and resolute confidence by Sariñana, eloquently captures in music the beating heart of the show, highlighting women as fiercely strong, empowered, independent trailblazers and agents of change.

Set in 1970, the crime drama series, which was created by International Emmy Award-winning showrunner and director Fernando Rovzar and Pablo Aramendi, was inspired by the true stories of Mexico’s first female police force and stars Ximena Sariñana as the character Ángeles, a fingerprint analyst.
