Apple TV’s Yo Gabba GabbaLand! brought its signature energy and irresistible cheer to NPR Music’s iconic Tiny Desk series.
The lively set opened with the cheerful number “We’re in Yo Gabba GabbaLand!,” kept the energy high with the classic interactive song “Hold Still,” and the new and instructive “I’m So Mad (Just Breathe)” followed. Adding to the magic, GRAMMY-winning artist Thundercat, sporting a head-to-toe orange cat costume, reprised his GabbaLand!series role for a special rendition of “The Orange Cat’s Special Time Outdoors,” before joining the fan-favorite finale “Party in My Tummy.”
Starring Kamryn Smith as Kammy Kam, Yo Gabba GabbaLand! is Apple TV+’s revival of the Emmy-nominated cultural phenomenon Yo Gabba Gabba!, produced in partnership and collaboration with WildBrain and Yo Gabba Gabba LLC, co-owners of the brand.
Much like the beloved original, the new series is packed with celebrity guest appearances, featuring stars such as Gillian Jacobs, Chelsea Peretti, and Flea. Fans will also be delighted by the return of the original voice actors, including Adam Deibert (Muno), Amos Watene (Brobee), Emma Penrose (Foofa), Erin Pierce (Toodee), and co-creator Christian Jacobs as Plex.
